Remote Printing for an IT System House Serving 350+ Businesses

The Solution

ezeep replaced the VPN-based workarounds entirely. Printers outside client networks are now connected through ezeep's cloud, and the central management console allows the team to distribute printers across locations without touching individual machines. Driver management, previously a constant source of support tickets, is handled by ezeep automatically.

"Except for the one-time setup, we have hardly any admin work to do. Central management allows us to distribute printers, and we also no longer have any worries with printer drivers."

From the end-user perspective, the transition was seamless. Users do not notice any difference between local and cloud printers, and the same workflows apply since ezeep presents a normal print object in their applications. The old workaround of printing to PDF and emailing documents to a branch office is no longer necessary.

The Outcome

VPN tunnels that were only maintained for printing have been decommissioned. The support effort for printing in branch offices has been reduced, and workflows across client environments are cleaner and more reliable.
