Bakers work at night, drivers start in the early morning, and office staff come in during the day. The Challenge

Viv Craske, Director at Fika Bakery, assumed it would be straightforward to print from home to the office printer using a cloud service. He quickly discovered otherwise.

"I assumed I could use a cloud service or app to hit print at home, and the office printer would print," says Craske. "I soon found that wasn't possible and Google's cloud printing service was no longer available."

Without a remote printing solution, office staff had to physically travel to the bakery to print production schedules and delivery slips, even when the work itself could be done from home. Given the overnight and early morning schedules involved, this was not a minor inconvenience.

The Solution

Craske implemented ezeep with an ezeep Hub. Now the team can work from home and send daily production schedules to the bakery and delivery slips to the drivers without having to travel to the office every day or in the middle of the night. The ezeep Hub connects the bakery's printers to ezeep's cloud, and print jobs sent remotely are delivered to the correct printer on site.

The Outcome

The team no longer needs to travel to the bakery to deliver printed documents. Production schedules reach the night bakers and delivery slips reach the morning drivers on time, regardless of where the office staff are working.
