ezeep Listed as the Windows Virtual Desktop Printing Solution by Microsoft

Microsoft’s upcoming Azure service Windows Virtual Desktop not only takes desktop-as-a-service technology to a new level, but also places new demands on printing. When desktops move to the cloud, every printer becomes a remote printer. An intelligent printing solution is therefore essential.

ThinPrint, a provider of print management solutions, could have taken the option and recommended its existing on-premises solution – the ThinPrint Engine for Windows 10 Multi-Session, which was completed in September 2018, just as some other market players have been planning. But this would not be enough.

The advantages of a cloud desktop such as Windows Virtual Desktop can be experienced when all other systems are also available in the cloud. Companies can benefit from relocating to the cloud, especially with a complex process like printing. This is why ThinPrint has decided to adapt its cloud printing solution ezeep, which was initially established for the coworking sector, to the requirements of Windows Virtual Desktop.

Fully integrated into the Microsoft Entra ID and soon available via the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, ezeep allows IT administrators to connect their on-premises printer landscape to Windows Virtual Desktop in minutes. It also removes the need for local print servers. Printers in branch offices or home offices can also be easily connected to the ezeep cloud in minutes.
